Heineken heiress Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken has bought into the cult British jewellery brand Missoma, popular with celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Lopez and Margot Robbie.

De Carvalho-Heineken, controlling shareholder of the world’s second largest brewer, has taken a stake of up to 50pc of Missoma, according to filings at Companies House.

2020欧洲杯体育足彩外围appKnown for its chunky gold chains, statement rings and and charm hoop earrings, Missoma has profited from a surge in demand for affordable jewellery driven mostly by women in their 20s and 30s. 

2020欧洲杯体育足彩外围appLaunched by designer and founder Marisa Hordern in 2008, Missoma doubled its turnover to £12m in 2018. The company has grown to more than 40 employees. 

Missoma did not respond to requests for comment. Representatives for de Carvalho-Heineken also declined to comment.

De Carvalho-Heineken is ranked as one of the wealthiest people in Britain alongside her husband Michel de Carvalho, a veteran Citigroup banker, ex-Olympic skier and former child actor. Together, they have an estimated fortune of around £12bn.

2020欧洲杯体育足彩外围appAs an only child of the late Heineken boss Freddy Heineken, de Carvalho-Heineken is the sole heir to the multi-billion dollar beer fortune, as well as an executive member of the Dutch brewer’s board of directors.

In 2002 de Carvalho-Heineken took control of the family business, which was founded by her great-grandfather, Gerard Adriaan Heineken, in 1864.
